When Mallory first emailed me, she made it clear that she was NOT photogenic and was a little shy in front of the camera. Like with all my couples, I patiently respond with something along the lines of, "Don't worry, just have fun!" When they arrived at Moses Cone Manor, I immediately had to call her out. "Mallory, you are GORGEOUS! What are you even talking about? Look at you." It was true. Her eyes, her hair, even the dress she chose was drop dead gorgeous. And she had a handsome, totally in love man just following her every move. 

​We had the absolute perfect evening with mild temperatures and a beautiful sunset. I couldn't have asked for more.

K & C are one of the sweetest, most down to earth couples I have ever met. From the moment they arrived at the park, I just knew we would hit it off. Their passion and support for each other is just amazing. 

We were originally planned for Blowing Rock, but the weather decided to take a turn for the worst so we met up at Riverbend. No joke, it started to rain (possibly sleet) right in the middle of our SPRING session. Who knew.

But, I am simply overjoyed at the day we had and the couple, you guys, is gorgeous.

Christmas card orders are in full swing--and are due before the start of December so we can insure you get them in time for the mail! Each pack of 25 cards is $55 including shipping. Paper options include Classic Felt, Cotton, 100% Recycled, Smooth, Linen, Potato, or Pearl press papers which are all hand designed and made in a professional printing lab. 

Return address labels added to your envelopes are also an amazing option. Return address printing available in multiple fonts; print in the upper left front side of envelope, front center of the envelope, or centered on the flap on the back. 

Turn around time is 1-2 days for processing and design and always includes speedy overnight shipping to your door.

We have been super busy this year. It is already almost Fall and I am barely able to catch my breath. We have newborns, birthdays, engagements, seniors, weddings, first steps, first kisses, and so much more. Here are a few highlights of what has been going on lately...

Fall wedding season is right around the corner--and so far we have 3 brides who will be getting married with us under the beautiful fall leaves. 

The wedding you see above was held at the Clemmons Educational State Forest in Clayton, North Carolina. It was a beautiful afternoon--hot, but beautiful. The only crazy thing about fall here in North Carolina is the weather--it could be hot and humid or cool and breezy. However, the leaves peak mid-November and really show off their bold colors before winter sets in. 

Another beautiful spot for Fall weddings is right here in Garner (where I reside) at the gorgeous White Deer Nature Center and Park. The nature center rents by the hour and can hold up to 100 guests. They include a beautiful balcony overlooking the forest and an indoor space in case of bad weather. Many brides are going for the simple. clean, but rustic and wedding guest friendly type of venue and White Deer has it all. 

 Speaking of weather, several of my fall brides have decided to not take the chance and booked an indoor venue that still has an outdoor space in case the weather holds out. Some of those venues include Delightful Inspirations in Raleigh and the Women's Club of Raleigh. Another great venue idea to put on your list is all of the amazing restaurants Downtown Raleigh has to offer--including Cafe Luna. Most can accommodate a ceremony and reception with plenty of room for dancing. 

If you are looking for that perfect venue still, and just can't find what speaks to you, I urge you to think outside the box. There are so many gorgeous locations in this area that are just begging to be booked. Some more ideas to leave you with -- WRAL Azaela Gardens, Historic Mordecai, Angier Depot, Downtown Apex, Irregardless Cafe, and The NC State Country Club.

We sold out of a ton of seasonal minis this year, and they were sold out way before the season even begun! I want to make sure no one misses out or gets turned away because of our availability for 2017. Below you will find a list of dates you can add to your calendar NOW so that you don't miss out on the open bookings! Remember, we book at least 12 months in advance, so ALL 2017 sessions are currently OPEN and ready for booking on our online booking portal (except 2017 Christmas Minis which will open next month). However, here are the dates you may want to jot down so you are first (or second) in line...

Spring 2017 Mini Sessions: Open Now, but start to fill around March 1st, 2017. Weekend dates in April and May.

2017 Summer Mini Sessions: Open Now, but start to fill around May 1st, 2017. Weekend dates in June, July, and August. 

Mommy and Me: Select Weekends in May, usually don't fill up until 2-3 weeks before.

Daddy and Me: Select weekends in June, usually don't fill up until 1-2 weeks before.

Fall Mini Sessions (the big one): Open Now, but start to fill up around August 1st, 2017 and become even more full begining of September. By Mid-September, we are sold out.

Christmas Mini Sessions usually trickle in around mid-October and start to fill around the first of November. Dates are usually sold out a week or two before Thanksgiving.

ANY 2017 Date is OPEN NOW except for December 2017. Any date can be recheduled up to 48 hours in advance, so if you have a date in mind, go ahead and book it now. That way, your place in line still stands and you have beautiful photos to hang on your wall and give as gifts.
