Little dude is 9 months old, and I can't hardly believe it. I remember when his momma told me she was expecting; seems like yesterday. Literally. After a few rounds of illnesses, we finally were in the studio for his 9 month portraits. Simple. Cute. My kind of day. And I can't forget his amazingly beautiful eyes, chub rolls, and cute baby toes.

James B. Hunt Jr Library | *L* is One | Raleigh Family Photography | Maya Anna Photography1/16/2016 I can not say enough about this absolutely incredible location that mom and dad picked out for their son's first birthday session. The James B. Hunt Jr Library is located on Centennial Campus near the Farmers Market, and a part of NCSU Libraries. The entire place was chalked full of color, lines, art work, and contemporary pieces that just blew my mind.    
   Happy Birthday sweet boy! Can't wait to see what year 2 brings us.
Oh he was a precious little bundle. Born 3 weeks early, but expected much earlier. Momma had been having pre-term labor for weeks, but held him in as long as she could. He slept like a champ for me the entire session. Big Sister, Peyton, was absolutely beautiful and so proud.
  www.mayaannaphotography.com Mr. Hayes officially graduates his First Year Package and we had a wonderful 12 month session today. We rode a gator, rocked in the rocking chair, climbed (everything!), ate tons of food, and played with trains. I absolutely love doing lifestyle sessions in client's homes because it really makes the images personal. Check out Mr. Hayes when we was less than a week old...  and here he is at 3 months...  6 months he was sitting and talking!  and by 9 months he was almost walking! She was absolutely perfect. Everything from her tiny little eye lashes to her tiny little toes. She slept perfectly for me, and even had a few awake moments where I caught her beautiful baby eyes.
