Raleigh Rose Garden
Pet friendly! Perfect for couples and weddings. Rose bushes can be found all around, as well as beautiful large trees and rock walls. There is a lovely water fountain in the center of the park that looks The rose bushes show off their beautiful colors in the spring, summer, and early fall. Location isn't recommended for smaller, mobile children and toddlers due to the thorny stems from the rose bush.
Fred Fletcher Park
Just beautiful during the spring, summer, and fall. Perfect for families with children. Pet friendly! Neat spot for couples and weddings.
Lake Johnson, Raleigh
Great location for all kinds of sessions including but not limited too mini sessions, families, children, couples, maternity, engagements, and weddings. Lake Johnson is also pet friendly. Just be careful of the overly friendly resident ducks.
Pullen Park
Pullen Park is located in the heart of downtown Raleigh and has a beautiful area for family portraits including a trail, a bridge over a pond, greenery, landscaping, and a train. This park is great for a family session, maternity session, or even children portraits.
Historic Yates Mill
Historic Yates Mill is a very popular place and is often requested. It is located just south of downtown Raleigh. It includes a beautiful bridge overlooking a pond, grassy areas, the Mill, and a beautiful patio with rocking chairs. It is a great location for seasonal family portraits, maternity portraits, senior portraits, large families, bridals, engagements, and children portraits.
Lake Benson
Lake Benson Park in Garner is one of my favorite locations. It is home to a private lake access, walking trails, a picket fence with a big red barn, large green fields, and much more. It is the perfect place for almost any session and kid friendly. We host most of our mini sessions at Lake Benson.
WRAL Azalea Gardens
The Azalea Gardens are located at the WRAL studios off Hillsborough Street in downtown Raleigh, across from the NC State campus. It includes a beautiful landscaped perimeter, a water fountain, and walking trails. The gardens are constantly changing in colors, which makes it a new experience every visit. A beautiful location for a family session.
North Carolina Museum of Art
Located off Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh, the Art Museum has a wonderful outdoor park with lots of sculptures, walking trails, and a duck pond. A great location for couples, families, and children.
JC Raulston Arboretum
The Arboretum is another favorite location that is often requested. Similar to the Duke Gardens in Durham, it is home to one of the largest and most diverse area of plants adapted for landscape use in the Southeast. A perfect location for a maternity or family session.
Historic Oakview Park
Historic Oakview Park is a beautiful location for families, seniors, older children, younger children, couples, and more. It is home to beautiful, white buildings, farm houses, goats, and lots of room to run and play. If you are in to country or vintage style portraiture, then Oakview is the place.
Our Studio {Garner, NC}
Studio sessions are great for cold weather, but also recommended for your newborn session. I also recommend small children, boudoir, and maternity clients to book a studio session. We also have an outdoor space.
